Wow, what a weekend! Our host family took us by back roads from Pemberton (past Squamish!) to Harrison. 15 hours of driving on rutted, dusty, winding logging roads. Best road trip ever! So I'm in Surrey, BC now, living with my host family. It feels very strange... it's only been just over 3 days since we arrived here from Squamish where our orientation was, but it feels so much longer. So I'm in Surrey, at my host family's, with my counterpart, Arini. The orientation camp is over now, it was about 6 days long, and the real program begins. My family is Bob and Jacinta as parents and Maria as our little sister. I don't have much time right now, so I'll tell you more later. Let's just say it's been interesting and fun.
